A wonderful Menlo Park family came to us with a backyard they never used and a wish to reactivate the space. We extended the daily life of three generations of family into the garden.
A custom cor-ten steel fountain sets the stage as both a feature for the living room and an invitation to explore the garden. A simple color palette of greens and greys ties the upper and lower gardens together, quietly linking the design inside with the surrounding landscape.
