Situated in the southern Californian desert, in Joshua Tree, a quiet town of 9,000 people, Folly is a compound consisting of two steel-clad cabins. The main cabin of 460ft² (43m²) reconstructed from a home built 1954, and the smaller hut is new.
Designed by Cohesion Studio in 2017, the Joshua Tree Folly off-grid cabins are now available to rent on Airbnb (starting at $300/night).
