Las Vegas-based company Boxabl has created an accessory dwelling unit called The Casita. Elon Musk lives in one of these tiny prefab houses. Musk’s rented Casita, which serves as his primary home, is installed in Boca Chica, Texas, USA. With an area of 375ft² (35m²), the prefab fits a living area, a bedroom area, an eat-in kitchen, and one bathroom, as well as full appliances, including a washer and dryer. The ADU is priced at $49,500 (or rented for $250/month) and has ultra-low utility bills due to insulation technology and included LED lighting. The tiny house can be delivered to your backyard and set up in just one day. It folds down to 8.5 feet (2.6meters) wide and can be transported by trucks, trains, sea, and air.
