Northwest Art House is a house owned by a couple who has an interest in community and a love of art. Located in Seattle, Washington, USA, the 10,000-sqft (929-sqm) house was designed by Olson Kundig in 2015.
The couple’s extensive collection of Northwest art helped inspire the home’s design and demarcates the central space with two gallery walls flanking a central corridor. The resulting design offers flexible features for entertaining, including interior sliding panels that close off private areas during events. The result is a home perfectly suited to the owners’ lifestyle, but adaptable enough to accommodate changing uses for friends, family and the Northwest arts community.
