House in the forest by Finne Architects

Before Finne Architects there was a task to perform reconstruction of the building of the 1950s. The house is located in the forest about 25 km north of Seattle, USA. Retaining the spirit of antiquity, Finne Architects completely redesigned the structure. New windows, glass roof, redevelopment of rooms – all this was done to visually increase the space. Each room has a stunning view of the forest. The design of the house is designed in such a way that it looks the most simple, in the spirit of “green” buildings, fully consistent with the reputation of the “house in the forest”, but at the same time meeting all the requirements of modern housing with all amenities.
