Situated in a row house of the 1970s in the Polish town of Sopot, Okrezna Attic has been a tiny not used attic, and then it was rebuilt into the main bedroom of the house. Owned by a young lawyer, this attic apartment of 36m² (387ft²) was designed by Raca Architekci in 2016.
Reconstruction began with a change in the geometry of the roof to make more space inside the new bedroom. During the roofing work, inspired by boarding, together with the investor we made a decision to lay all the ceiling with a natural wood. It was our main idea of this interior.
