New Zealand-based company Build Tiny has created 183-square-foot (17-square-metre) modern house on wheels named The Millennial Tiny House. Its price starts at $59,750 NZD ($40,830USD). Located in the town of Katikati in the Bay of Plenty on New Zealand’s North Island, The Millennial Tiny House prototype/show home is available for nightly rental through Airbnb.

It’s extremely light and open, and just 7.2 x 2.4m (meeting all NZTA requirements for a light trailer). It has the feel and functionality of a much bigger home thanks to its large double glazed windows, and clever space saving features such as a retractable staircase. Fully kitted out with everything needed in a modern home such as: a full sized oven, fridge, shower and washing machine, and even a dedicated home office – you’ve really got to see it in person to appreciate all the unique features.
