Situated in iconic Barbican Estate within Central London, the United Kingdom Ben Johnson House is a triplex apartment that was originally designed by Chamberlin, Powell and Bon in the 1950s. In 2016 Emulsion Architecture was commissioned to update the residence while retaining the original features of the Grade II-listed complex.
“The interior palette includes feature walls inspired by Le Corbusier’s colour range against a neutral grey rubber floor, and dark wood and wired glass referencing materials of the original building.”
