Set against L’Ardévaz mountains, in Switzerland, Zufferey House looks like a stone block lying on the ground in a fragile balance. Designed by Nunatak Sàrl Architectes in 2003, the 182-sqm (1,959-sqft) house is erected with a prefabricated wood framework and featured passive heating.
